Caption styles

Pick from four caption styles: Pop, Karaoke, Boxed and Minimal.

Updated

CutGPT adds captions to every edit. There are four styles to choose from.

StyleWhat it looks like
PopBold, uppercase text
KaraokeHighlights each word as it's spoken
BoxedText on a dark box
MinimalSmall, lowercase text

Change the style of an edit

In the web app, open your edit and pick a style under Captions. The preview updates right away. The style you pick also becomes your default for new edits.

Set a default style

In Settings, choose a Default style under Captions. New edits start with it.

How captions are split

Each caption shows at most 3 words, or about 20 characters. Captions break at the ends of sentences and at commas, so they read naturally.

To place captions where you want them, see Move and resize captions.
