Export your video

Save your edit as an MP4 at 720p, 1080p or its original resolution.

Updated

When your edit looks right, click Export on the result page or in the editor.

Choose your settings

  • Resolution: 720p, 1080p or Original. CutGPT never upscales, so if your video is smaller than the size you pick, it keeps its own size.
  • Burn in captions: turn it on to draw your captions into the video. Turn it off for a video without captions.

Then click Export video. CutGPT remembers your choices for next time. You can also set them in Settings under Export.

What you get

An MP4 file with H.264 video and AAC audio.

Where the file goes

  • Chrome and Edge: you choose where to save the file before the export starts, and CutGPT writes it straight to disk.
  • Other browsers: the file downloads when the export is done.

Keep the tab open

Your video is made on your computer, and nothing is uploaded. Keep the tab open until the export finishes. If something goes wrong, see Fix export problems.
