Which one should you use?

CapCut is a general-purpose editor: you build the edit yourself, with as much control as you want. CutGPT does one job. It turns a talking take with mistakes in it into a tight, captioned cut.

  • Choose CutGPT if you film yourself talking and want the retakes, restarts, ums and dead air found and cut for you, with captions added, in your browser and without uploading your video.
  • Choose CapCut if you want a full multitrack editor with keyframes, effects, music, templates and 4K exports, on your phone, your computer or the web.

You can also use both. Cut your take in CutGPT, export the MP4 with burned-in captions turned off, and add music, effects or CapCut's own captions there.
